Auditions
CALL FOR ACTORS &
TECH
The Acting Company in Loveland is casting for Don Juan in Chicago an adult
comedy by David Ives (profanity and sexual language). Directed by Martha
Palmer, set & lighting design by Terry Palmer, Stage Manager- James
Schwindt, Props master- Joy Sandford, Dramaturg- Joan Otopaulik.
COMMITTMENT
Rehearsals: several nights a week and/or weekends from June to early August
variously (some flexibility in the rehearsal schedule; to be negotiated
after casting)
Performances: at the Rialto Theater in Loveland
Tech Week August 5-9
Run August 10 - 12, 17 - 19
Load-in and strike (Aug 5 & 19 respectively)
ACTORS NEEDED (No roles are paid):
*Don Juan - M 30-40s, comic & dramatic skills, dialect skills (Spanish)
Leporello - 30-40, comic skills, natural style
*Mephistopheles - rich voice, ability with classic style
Dona Elvira - a match for Don Juan, dialect skills (Spanish)
*Sandy - 30-40s, ballsy female business executive
*Todd - a match for Sandy, Chicago dialect
Zoey - F 20s, ingenue, natural style
Mike - a match for Zoey, innocent
Consideration given to actors who performed this play as a staged reading
(*) but the auditions are open
